Course summaryThe TESL/TEFL Certificate course with observed TP (Teaching Practice) in addition to basic teaching skills and methodology, includes observed teaching practice (using videotaped lessons). With its in-depth approach and monitored TP, this course is generally for teachers with maybe 1 or 2 years experience who wish to gain a first qualification in the subject. Some schools favor certification which includes the assessment of the candidate's teaching practice through close monitoring of actual lessons carried out in a classroom. This course gives scope to those teachers who wish to have such a component included in their training. Apart from 5 compulsory assignments and 3 Videotaped Lessons, you will also be required to submit a Teacher's Diary: a detailed record of your classes, lessons and school experience during your time taking the course. N.B. To take this course you must already be working at a school and have access to videotaping equipment.
